Kale Kiwi and Celery Juice: A Green Juice for Bone Health

Kale and celery don’t taste like much on their own, which is exactly why this juice works. The kiwi and green apple bring a surprising amount of sweetness, and the cucumber keeps it light. What you’re actually drinking is one of the best sources of vitamin K you can get from a glass.

Vitamin K is the part of bone health nobody talks about. Calcium gets the credit, but without vitamin K your body struggles to send that calcium where it needs to go. Kale and celery are two of the richest leafy sources of it.

Why these ingredients work

Kale and celery deliver vitamin K, which helps your body route calcium into your bones rather than letting it sit in places it shouldn’t. Kiwi brings a big dose of vitamin C, which you need to build the collagen that bone grows around. Green apple and cucumber keep it light without adding much sugar, and a squeeze of lemon sharpens it up.

FAQ

Is kale juice good for your bones?

Kale is one of the best leafy sources of vitamin K, which helps your body put calcium to work in your bones. On its own it won’t build bone, but as part of a diet with enough calcium and vitamin D it genuinely helps.

Does it taste bitter?

Less than you’d think. The kiwi and apple do most of the talking. If you’re sensitive to kale, swap half of it for spinach.

Can I use frozen kale?

Yes. Thaw it first so it doesn’t water the juice down, and use a little less because frozen kale packs tighter.
