Kale Kiwi and Celery Juice

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups kale stems removed
  • 2 kiwi peeled
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 green apple cored
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon peeled

Instructions
 

Juicer method

  • Wash everything, then peel the kiwi and lemon.
  • Feed the kale, celery, cucumber and apple through the juicer, then finish with the kiwi and lemon.
  • Stir and serve straight away, or bottle and chill for up to 24 hours.

Blender method

  • Chop the kale, celery, cucumber and apple roughly and add to a blender with the kiwi and lemon.
  • Add a splash of water and blend until smooth.
  • Strain through a nut milk bag or fine sieve and serve.

Notes

Kale and celery are two of the best leafy sources of vitamin K, which helps your body send calcium to your bones. Swap the kale for spinach if you want something milder. Nutrition is an estimate per glass and will vary with your produce.
