Ingredients
  

  • 1 beetroot scrubbed
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 1 inch ginger peeled
  • 2 oranges peeled
  • 1 apple cored

Instructions
 

Juicer method

  • Scrub the beetroot, core the apple and peel the oranges and ginger.
  • Juice the beetroot, celery and ginger first, then the orange and apple.
  • Stir and serve immediately.

Blender method

  • Chop everything and blend with a splash of water.
  • Strain through a fine sieve and serve chilled.

Notes

The orange does the heavy lifting on flavour here, which makes this the easiest way to introduce beetroot if you're not sure about it yet. Nutrition is an estimate per glass.
